Appeal for Support to Develop the Vocational Training Center

Ven. Modarawane Suddhamma Thero, Chief Incumbent of the temple and Executive Director of the Vocational Training Center, extends a heartfelt appeal to all well-wishers to support the ongoing development of the Sri Bodhiraja Vocational Training Center. Your contribution will help us empower the youth with valuable skills and brighter futures.

Established in 1987, the center officially began its training programs in 1992 with the assistance of the World University Service of Canada (WUSC). Since then, it has offered a wide range of vocational training programs in areas such as:

  • Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

  • Engineering

  • Woodwork

  • Motor Mechanism

Located within the temple premises, the center has become a beacon of opportunity for youth in the surrounding communities, providing hands-on, career-focused education.

We also wish to affirm that the legal and administrative authority of the institution is held by Mr. G.M.D.C.M. Karunathilaka, under whose capable leadership the center is currently operating.
